We were on vacation last week and had our digital camera stolen from the condo. :-( Thank goodness for friends! My friend Charlotte loaned me her camera to use for a couple days until we can purchase another one.
I created several wedding thank-you samples for a friend who is getting married in April. Her wedding colors are pastels, and she likes various shades of green. She chose one of the samples similar to this.
The flowers were stamped with black StazOn ink on the front of the vellum, allowed to dry thoroughly, then colored with markers on the back. When dry, the vellum piece was turned over and adhered at the top only to a piece of white paper of the same size. The adhesive strips were covered by either a 3/8-inch ribbon or paper strips (seen here). (I tried to steer clear of anything that would cost extra postage to mail.)
The sentiment on the Certainly Celery card base was stamped using Old Olive ink. Next, the Linen background was stamped lightly over the card front using Certainly Celery ink. The flourishes from Priceless were stamped randomly around the sentiment using Certainly Celery ink.
Thanks for looking!

Oh my goodness, Shellie... this is so beautiful!! I love the soft colors, the way you colored on the vellum (I sooooo have to try that) and how you combined all the stamp sets perfectly. I love it and it went into my favs! I'm sure your friend was just blown away : )

This is so soft and beautiful, very delicate with the vellum.
