Todays Ways to Use It Challenge was to use your computer in the making of your card.
A friend at work asked me to make a card for her son who is turning 1 this month. She said he loves Curious George - so I googled it and found some great pictures that I printed - enlarged - and cut out for my card.
I used a wonderful marble texture cube stamp from Stampendous for the background that I've had for ages but have not used until today - and boy - does it stamp nicely! It has 3 other patterns on it and I'll be sure to try it on other cards now that I've stamped it!
The ovals and George are up on dimensionals.
This is a 5x5 card so I made a coordinating envelope to fit it using DP and an envelope template from The Paper Source.

Looks great Julia!! Really a cute Curious George!! I'll bet Evan is going to love this!! I like that cracked bg too!! Look fabulous!! Imagine going to the lengths of creating your own envelope..oh, you are making me tired!! Most of my cards are 5 '1/2 by 5 1/2 inches, and I just buy 6 inch square envies!! And yesterday one of my * out of control * big cards went out in a big kraft enevelope for $1.31. I'm such a big goof when it comes to making mailable cards!

Julia, this is one spectacular card: Love the the figures and the envelope. Oh, if I have someone ask me to make them a card, can I forward that request to you?
