I made this for Sharon's blog No Time To Stamp? I love her 'keep it simple' challenges! This one was to use flourishes in any way and to keep it simple.
First I have to say that I am so disappointed in how this picture came out!! The colors are flat, you can hardly tell that the Teal is teal and the black is black and embossed on the panels. And you cannot see the glitter on the butterfly.
HONESTLY, this card looks so much prettier in real life! I really wish I had a daylight lamp!
Anyhoo...this really did come together quickly, and I had fun...one of Sharon's MUSTs! I'm very happy with it *IRL*.
Thanks for taking a peek!
Have a great weekend!

This is a very pretty card. I think we all had photography issues today. My card kept coming out blue so I set it under a lamp. Now it has a sepia hue, but that's okay, that looks better with the vintage look to my card.

So beautiful, Deena. The colors sound very pretty, but I really like it in the colors it's showing up in, too. Everything has a nice sheen or shimmer to it. Great design.

I LOVE your card -- love the tall and thin format -- love your blocked squares -- love the placement of your pretty and delicate flourishes and I love the sentiment from Carte Postale!!! A fabulous project!!! And we all have photo issues -- it comes with the territory -- sad, but true!!! I've been dealing with heavy blue tints this week -- driving me nuts -- but we all know and can truly see this in it's real state --it is truly gorgeous and I'm so glad you played -- thanks so much!!!
