Happy Valentine's day, everyone! I thought it might be fun to post a Valentine I made when I was 12 (1966)! No stamps used. The body is 2 red hearts of construction paper, the face is a white heart. The apron and hat are pieces of doily. This was not an original idea of mine; I think it was just a project that was popular at the time. I think I did adapt the idea for a 'man' card, but I'm not sure I still have it. I was lucky to have a mom who saved my stuff AND gave it back to me.

How very cute! what a fun thing to have from your childhood! I have a Pilgrim man and woman that my son made in Kindergarten that I pull out every year - it's such fun to have those things!
