This is my project for the Guest Designer contest at My Favorite Things. The challenge was to create a candy holder. I used Beate's tutorial for a Takeout Box here: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers. I changed it up a bit in that I put the side folds on the outside instead of the inside, put heart shaped eyelets and tied the two outside flaps together. I also put a scalloped edge on the upper flaps. I only have one MFT set (other than the Essential Sentiments set, at least until my order from last night comes!!!), so I used my Boho Blossoms set to make the heart shapes on both sides and the sentiment on the scalloped tag. I used the Essential Glue Pad and Martha Stewart glitter to add some bling, but it didn't show up in the photo very well. It's pretty shiny IRL. I'm pretty sure some of the other gals will come up with something more amazing than this, but I wanted to enter just because I had such a good time at the MFT Cocktail New Release Party last night. So here it is! Thanks for looking!

This is really pretty! But you need to take that ADORABLE baby off your avatar because your paper-crafting skills are a little overshadowed by your baby-making skills;)
