A lovely woman who works in our hospital complex went well beyond the "extra mile" today to try to help me with a problem and I wanted to thank her for her kindness to me and the kindness she always shows to patients. I found an unfinished, partially stamped image of this tulip that I had discarded as I didn't like the placement on the watercolor paper or the way the color of the first stamp of the tulip came out. So, I tried to "resurrect" it! Over-stamped the larger tulip image with pixie pink, then stamped the 2nd tulip stamp with pink passion. After hunting thru sentiments, I stumbled on this one from best blossoms and did it in pink passion. Used my versa marker on the stem and a bit of the outer tulip stamp to pop it up just a bit more. The image was still high on the paper and time was getting short to start dinner and I added a piece of ribbon at the bottom edge hoping to balance the image. Just smutzed the olive and the pixie pink stamp pads along the edges and put in the brads. Stippled around image with barely banana. It may be a stretch for this LSC but I wanted to play...and wanted to honor a kind, caring woman. TFL.

I think this is just a beautiful card. Everything looks perfect on it, so your resurrection was a big success. Thanks for the description of how you did it; it reminds me that I can go back and revisit images that didn't *make the cut* at the time and remake them into something better. Yay!
This is beautiful, Jane. The ribbon is perfectly placed to balance the tulip. I gather that you had some problem today at your appointment after I left work. Ugh!
