One thing I've decided with the inspiration challenge is to allow myself to just "got with" whatever idea pops into my head ... after all, as we're always reminded there are no rules here.
When I saw the Madison Bag made from the fabric, I knew that's what I had to make. Yesterday I received my order from http://www.frugalities.com and it included a pad of 7gypsies Karma papers. I thought this one had the same feel as the Butler Fabric. I cut the card 8 1/2" x 4" and then angle cut each side in about 1 1/2" from the top to the corner.
I added a flower embellishment (the "leaves" are a larger flower cut into fourths) and the handle (I punched the mega (pink) punch and then over-punched the Giga (purple) punch over the area that was left behind) and a "silly" sentiment (because it did feel a bit "silly" when I completed it), and the purse was done.
