This card did not come out like I pictured it in my head. The candy canes wouldn't fit on my circle punches - argh!!
I colored the candy canes with colored pencils & mineral spirits, then used markers and "puffer" (air artworks tool). Stamped square border across each back square in Handsome Hunter, then "puffed" in Rose Red. Painted gold border around each square with gold paint marker. Stamped Aida Cloth in Rose Red onto Rose Red cardstock for candy cane squares and base card. Sponged and distressed edges. Embossed silver brads and soda can tab with versamark and gold glory embossing powder. Stamped Linen in Sage Shadow onto Sage Shadow cardstock. Then stamped Print Pattern in Handsome Hunter onto bottom right corner of Sage Shadow cardstock and sentiment in Handsome Hunter on bottom left.

Love it. Like how you tied in the BG stamp to the squares up top. Nicely done.

Very nice card! I was just thinking about the Button and Bow Bear Stamp sets today. Nice resurrection of a long retired friend!

I love the way this turned out- great idea using squares instead of circles. I like the squares and diamonds, right down to the brads! TFS, and Happy Holidays!
