This card is the ultimate Christmas card because it took me like an hour and a half to complete.
I started with real red, then used SU Dashing DP. I used the ticket corner on both pieces of DP.
I layered real red and whisper white, and then copper embossed with gold ep on the tree. I filled it in using a blender pen, river rock and old olive.
I used a glue pen and ruby red glitter from SU.
Here is where it gets time consuming. I used whisper white again, then black craft ink. I used red ep. Once it was dry, I went over it with versamark and bridal dazzling ep. Heat, done! Then I cut out the snowlfakes. I knew I wanted them to stand out, so I mounted them on real red. I also knew I wanted to have them in a column going down, but I didn't want them to be a square, so I turned them on their sides to make a diamond pattern. I also knew I wanted to use ribbon to connect them.
So I went from the inside of the card. After I punched all my holes, which I did twice, and were still too small, I weaved the ribbon thru the holes, and behind the red. I did this from both the top and the bottom. 2 snowflakes for each end of the ribbon. Then when I got to the middle, I took the remaining piece of ribbon and tied them in a bow.
What do you think?
I resubmitted this because picture taken was not clear. I tried to reload the picture but it wasn't taking.
