These frames are such great gift ideas. They don't take a lot of time to make, so you've got time to make one or two for any last minute gifting.
I started by painting my wooden frame with Antique White acyrylic paint and a sponge brush. When it dried, I traced the frame on the backside of the dp, cut it out and adhered the paper with Mod Podge. When it was dry, I sanded the edges with a sanding block and sealed the paper with a thin layer of Mod Podge. When it was dry, I hid the seams with some chipboard pieces. I traced the chipboard pieces onto dp, cut them out and adhered the paper with Mod Podge. When dry, I filed the edges, applied the flowers and hearts rub-ons, sealed them with a layer of Mod Podge, added some gemstone brads and attached it to the frame with glue. I added some grograin ribbon for balance.
Eventually this will hold a photograph, but I can't stand an empty frame. I just stamped the fir tree from the Lovely as a Tree set with my Old Olive and Chocolate Chip markers Very Vanilla cs.
The person who bought it from me really liked it, and I hope you do, too.
