My daughter and her husband took this picture of their young Eclectus Parrots for Christmas. She belongs to a bird group online and they are sending Christmas Cards to each other. She brought me this photo and said, "work your magic and turn it into a cool card for me". Umm, yeah. So here is what happened. She liked it enough that I cut out all the main papers, she punched all the other pieces, and I sent her back to her apartment with the stuff to make twenty! The green parrot is Harvey and the red one is Jasmine, they call her Jazzy.
The inside is stamped in gold, with the star from Solemn Stillness and a saying from Star Studded Season, very cool on the black!

I didn't do very much to make this card, lol! Most of it is the photo my daughter and her husband took. They got a Christmas Print fabric, the red and green and gold plaid and tacked it to the wall. Then they put the little silver Christmas Tree on a chest on top of the fabric. Then they put the train in front of the tree and perched their real parrots on the train. They put millet on the train to get the birds to stay, and had handfuls of walnuts to bribe the birds to do what they wanted, lol! All I did was mount the photo on the hunter green, then mount that on the black card. Then we did the sentiment and star inside in gold, added the gold cording and the Merry Christmas Sentiment punched with the oval punches and sponged in gold Encore. Then we added the Word Window Punch with the office brads to finish off the card. Does that help?
