-Card size: cut the cardstock 8 1/2” x 4”, score and fold up 1 ½” on the bottom. Glue or tape down the edges to form a pocket. Now the card is 7” x 4”, score and fold in half so the card front will measure 3 ½” by 4”. This size allows you to insert the gift card in either direction.
-I think you can tell the strips are the paper piecing. That portion of the image is solid so I clear heat embossed the image and held it just right to the light source and cut it out. I was determined to use this cow for my GranddaughterÂ’s money card to the mall! The image is colored with re inkers and artist brush.
-The sentiment is three separate images. Merry from Merry Christmas, Moo from WhatÂ’s Moo? And La from Happy Easter (a portion of the E and the full a). SheÂ’ll love this sentiment!
-The hat is cut out and glued to the card. I then covered the white portion with Diamond Glaze and glitter. ItÂ’s colored with Prismacolor pencils.
-For the star/snowflake corner I measured from each corner and made my pencil mark. Lined up the 1 1/16” circle punch to each mark and made the cut.
-Star/Snowflake is from the Cuttlebug die cut Snowflakes and has one drop of Diamond Glaze and glitter added.
