This is my card for Beate's weekend sketch challenge. I'm not too sure about my color choices: just Real Red and Blue Bayou. It seems too vivid - if I'd added another color, it would have softened the impact somehow.
Peace is stamped in Versamark and coated in Heat and Stick Powder, then coated in Smoked Quartz glitter by Martha Stewart. I'm not really a Martha fan, but she has some nice glitter on the market.
My snowflake is stamped in Blue Bayou on Whisper White, punched out with a 1 3/8" circle punch and layered on a SU scalloped circle punch in Real Red. I glued a rhinestone in the middle of my snowflake for some pop.
I have ribbon everywhere in my stamping area. I love the texture. I reached for my lunchtin of ribbon (where I keep my SU ribbon on rolls) and noticed one of the ribbons I have on the handle. It was the dotted Swiss - which is absolutely sweet. So I dug around in my jar (where I put my ribbon by the yard purchases) and found the dotted Swiss and used it.
