The background is a piece of a magazine page, which I've embossed over... This is my first card with "real" sewing on it. I think I'll keep my sewing maching out ;-)

No there was no dryer sheet involved. I simply took the magazine page (which was a full sheet picturing a lady with a scarf) and cut it down to the portion that showed the texture of the scarf. I crumpled it up some, and smoothed it out... Then I stamped the swirl image in chocolate chip craft ink, and embossed in clear....
Awesome card! I love the techniques you used and definitely keep that machine out. The colors on this make it look so tasty, like chocolate. You know you've made something really good when it makes you think of caramel and chocolate cheesecake! Beautiful card. I'll have to try the magazine thing. TFP.
