This is a little gift bag I made for my weekly Monday challenge with a small group of friends here at SCS. We were to make/decorate a gift bag, pretty much anything we wanted to do, just had to be a gift bag. This is my story.
1. My friend Julia (artystamper) made the cutest little shopping tote out of cardstock sometime back. At the time I asked her to send me the pattern thinking it would come in handy. She did and it did. Thanks Julia.
2. During the time I was making this little tote bag, I sorta was thinking it wasn't gonna work...It is just weird how it goes together...doesn't really make sense until the end when it ends up looking like a tote. KWIM Julia?
3. I glued the handles on wrong...see the little twisty thing they do. That is the right way after I fixed it, you don't wanna know the way they were.
4. I had to re-do them again because I didn't make them long enough to tuck under the bottom part.
5. I almost re-did them a third time because the pattern shows the lighter color on the inside of the handle (two-tone) like on a real tote...but I bagged it! Leave it to me to have so much trouble with the easiest part of a project.
6. I did not bag the whole idea. I stuck with it! I was dangerously close though!

Oooooo, this is gorgeous! I love the flowers with those gorgeous prima leaves and the polka-dotted button brads! What awesome tissue paper, too! I'd love the template to make this bag when you get a chance.
