You're cards are great and have inspired me. One question, tho, how did you get the image of the inside of the umbrella? Please let me know at [email protected]. Thanks in advance!

the cards you see with the 'splitcoaststampers' name are ones we've collected from various places - card swaps, meetings, conventions, etc. We always credit the original artist when possible - in this case it wasn't.
as to e-mail, I'll do that but by asking and answering one another's questions here, in the gallery or forums, others have the benefit of sharing the same information. thanks!

I would guess to get the inside of the umbrella they made a stencil. Stamp the umbrella image on a scrap piece of paper and cut out the inside of the umbrella with an exacto knife. Then you can use a sponge dauber to add the inside area to your card.

Or...you can stamp it once in black on some scrap rubber (like the ones we save from when we cut the stamps...and have bags full of it ) and then cut out the image. Mount it on the side of the stamp and have the perfect shadow stamp for it. It works great for the gift in this set as well.
