This is a card I made for a weekly Monday challenge with a small group of SCS friends! This is my story!
1. Our challenge was to make a card for 4Hounds (Pam Bassett). The card had to have 4 hounds on it and the number 4. And now the fun part...all cards have to be mailed to Pam.
2. When Pam emailed me her address (she had no clue why I wanted it!) and I saw that her last name was Bassett..I thought uh....oh...we shoulda done bassetts! Snort!
3. The local golf course in Sheldon, Iowa has tragically (for some golfers) had to close down. It seems that there are 4 outa control goofball hounds that have discovered just how fun golf can be....
4. Four golfers to a hole, four hounds to a hole, 1 goofball golf ball to a hound! Once all of the balls are safely on the green, whatever hound pounces on their assigned ball first wins! And there are 9 holes! Yikes!
5. In the beginning, yelling *four* worked...but not anymore...did I mention these guys are outa control? Pam...do you know where your hounds are??
6. I was pretty excited about this card...then my photographer took a picture and said.....your 4th green looks like two big boobs...*Sigh*.....Well if those are two big boobs the plastic surgeon better close up shop too! Not once did I see two big boobs.....did you? It's gotta be a guy thing!

Well if those are boobs they are pretty uneven boobs in my book! Do you find boobs like that on a golf course ... maybe ... been a long time since I have been to one ;) You know you left yourself so open with all those goofball comments don't ya ... Charlene and I are gonna have a field day on that one ;) Not sure I would want to say goof ball golf ball really fast ..... that could be a tongue twister.
This is such a fun card and Pam just have to love it ... if not I bags it ;)

Cindy, I LOVE this!!! I am SO touched by all of this...you have NO idea!!!! I am speechless----well, speechless for me!! There HAVE been hounds out of control at times, when I was MUCH younger (though I'll never admit to it... hehehe...) .... I'd better go call that plastic surgeon----no one has ever described that part of my anatomy as BIG---I want a refund!!! I can't wait to put this in a big frame with the others----I'm gonna smile, get teary-eyed, and laugh every time I look at them. You are such a sweetheart---thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Love ya'--Pam B.

Okay. You opened the door on this one. This card is now officially labeled Goofball Gertie Goes Golfing on the Greens. You're the second one on the left, but I ain't tellin' ya why. 4Hounds is to the right of you looking so beautiful (just like her pic). Goofball Gertie has to explain to 4Hounds that these really aren't big boobs as her goofy photographer husband would have one believe because one would hope that not even the worst doctor in the world could screw up a boob job this badly!
Lord, girl, I know I'm repetitive when I write that you crack me up, but you do! Wish I had your darling imagination.

Maybe if your photographer was better, we could see the lettered charms better. He must have been focused on something else!! LOL As typical, I totally loved your story Cindy, and your card is clever, adorable, and awesomely executed....even if you have to look real hard to see the charms that the photographer couldn't manage to capture!! Awesome, awesome, awesome...all the way around!! And what???? You trying to outdo the rest of us by puting the number 4 on twice? Huh? What's up with that?

I saw the cute little charms - different on each hound - but couldn't make out what they said --- very cute - love your rolling hills (NOT female anatomy!!!) that flag will take a beating going through the postal system!!!
