I took the star-shaped chipboard and rubbed pale plum ink on it (from the pad, not a reinker), then added versamark and glassy glaze. It really darkened up! I think next time I'll try to "seal" the chipboard first, maybe with some white stazon or something.

The star looks great! Maybe darker than you wanted but I love how it just shines! This is a really pretty card - looks so simple at first and then you see more and more as you look at it! Very attractive!
