I needed an inexpensive wedding gift for a friend of a friend who got married last weekend. The paper matches the bride and groom's personalities perfectly.
I simply removed the glass, traced the frame onto the back of the designer paper, cut it out and adhered it to the wooden frame with Mod Podge. (Before adhering the paper, I painted the inside of the frame with a bit of brown paint to give it a clean look.)
I used some beautiful chocolate velvet ribbon to hide the seams where the two pieces of designer paper met and offset the velvet ribbon on one side of the frame with long pieces of Tempting Turquoise grosgrain and shimmery narrow organdy ribbon.
To give the frame some depth, I grabbed several buttons and threaded and knotted some hemp twine on them. I randomly placed them on some of the circles on the Tease designer paper with Mini Glue Dots.
That's it! So, tell me what you think.
