Well, a short trip to the Home Depot and lookie what I did! I bought a 6' laminate countertop, propped it on square storage cubes stacked 2 high and bolted it to the wall. I butted up my craft table to it, slid my file cabinet under it and done.
To get the room for the 6' laminate countertop, I had to sacrifice a bookshelf that held my Madame Alexander doll collection. So, in honor of that, I put my favorite doll on one of the mini shelves to look at.
The ink pad holders are cd holders that I broke and removed every other plastic rung to fit the ink pads. I need a couple more, but for $2 each, can't complain! My entire stamp space overhaul costed LESS than SU!'s Ink Pad Caddy!
The rods on the wall behind my chair are cafe rods I bought from Bed Bath and Beyond, perfect for holding punches. The bookshelves were bought at HD as well and I threaded dowels under them to hold some extra ribbon spools and display some cards.
My DH is happy, we can have the dining room table back! No more paper, cards and misc junk cluttering it! TFL.

WOW -- can't believe you made an entire space for less than the cost of an ink caddy -- amazing!!! Isn't it nice to have your own space??? Great job -- I need to come up with something for convenient punch storage -- I really don't have wall space -- I'm in the basement and don't want to drill into block walls!
