My take on the Inspiration Challenge for today. IC80. This was a great inspiration and a lot of fun to do. Now I just have to figure out which friend receives this birthday card! LOL!! Thanks for looking.
What do you think?

Great take on the challenge! Your shaving cream background looks awesome, and I like that you didn't cover it up too much, but still included the patterns for the top and bottom cake layers. I like the 'stars' on your cake!

Wow your shaving cream layers are perfect! I'm intimidated by that techinque, but you've given me hope! I love how you've alternated the layers and worked in a lot of the pink. The flowers over the candles are cute! Thanks for playing!

Wanted to clear up exactly how this was done - - the diamond and circle pieces were layered on to black and then placed on the shaving cream BG. It does look like the BG is pieced, however. Then the SC BG was placed on a black layer which was placed on a white card. It might have been easier to just piece them on the black, but IRL the layers stand out. Hope this makes sense.

Fun, fun, fun!!! I LOVE what you did with this piece! The 'stars' on the cake, the diamond pattern, the dots, the shaving cream background... everything pulled together and looks fabulous!!! Great job!
