For my first two cards I used a grid bkgd to achieve a faux tile look and I really liked the results on those two cards.
However, after seeing the work of others I thought I really should try a real 'faux' tile method which takes more effort.......don't like to be considered a lazy person, ya know....so.....
I tried....I worked....I redid.....I lifted and moved.....I restamped.....I nearly pulled my hair out of my head. My weak peepers were fighting me all the way on this one, but I was determined to get a card out of it......a wedding card......so....
.....after a long afternoon, this is my card. I think it had more potential than I achieved....and I may end up changing the main image......but here it is in its first finished version...........
thanks for looking......and 'listening' to my story.......and now....understanding the name of this card............LOL............

I think this is gorgeous! In fact, it's going into my favorites and I'm going to give it a try myself. Of course, I'll probably do the LAZY version. Looks great! TFS

Heehee! The work did result in a nice card, and I am sorry it fought you the whole time. Now that you have done it, you can go back to the 'lazy' method. You get more pleasure out of it, and stamping is supposed to be fun!
