You can do the chalkboard technique on any dark colored CS like Navy, hunter, burgundy, black & chocolate, vintage violet, Not quite navy.
Stamp first image(s) in White craft ink, then use daubers to apply chalk color of choice. Daub the daubers lightly so that you aren't grabbing the white ink up into your dauber, but firm enough to transfer your chalk color to the images. Use a new dauber for each color. Allow first color to completely dry before stamping your next image for another color. To eliminate the dust particles:
After each color application, Take a dry, soft bristle, flat watercolor brush and sweep it across the images, back and forth quickly. Not all the chalk dust will come off, sometimes it leaves a "haze", just like on a real chalkboard, but that's OK.
Takes some practice.
Thanks!!
