This is for the VSBNH Chipboard challenge - the title letters are from Scenic Route except the large "S" which is Heidi Swapp - they were already red but I added the gems to the "S" - kind of hard to see in the photo. The stars were from Fancy Pants All Boy box set of chipboard - I painted it yellow with acrylic paint. I stamped the #4 and the name using real red craft ink (stamps from EK success) and then embellished with red stickles. The journaling reads "When you were four you were working so hard on learning words and perfecting your diction, and you were spelling these amazing words! So cool!" This layout is about my little boy, Joshie, who is Autistic - he can't talk yet (conversationally) but he has a photographic memory and has been using his refrigerator magnets to spell these huge words - "saxophone" in this picture. As he spells the words he works really hard to say them, so hoping he will eventually develop this into some useful communication!
