I will be making 120 of these for my 2nd baby boy's announcements. The original idea for a pocket baby card came from the Idea book and catalog (for the Buggies & Booties set on page 97) and then I saw a great pocket card here on SCS by AZMommy. She was kind enough to give me the measurements for the basic pocket card. The rest was my idea. I think it looks like a baby blanket. Since I will be making so many, I wanted to make it as simple, but elegant, as possible. But, the bear definitely looks the best cut out. So, I hope to make all the announcements before my baby turns 1! (I will also tuck in a photo of the baby and his big brother in the pocket behind the pullout.) All supplies are SU!
Edited to add measurements: Pocket: 4 1/4" x 11" (8 1/2" x 11" cut vertically)
score at 5 1/2" and 1 1/2" Use brads to secure pocket.
Insert/Pullout - 3" x 4 7/8" (this makes it perfectly fit into the pocket.
i used the small corner rounder punch and the round tab punch. I also used the large oval punch for the sentiment.
