I love the favorite teddy bear set because of all the cute accessory stamps that are with that adorable bear. I challenged myself to get the set out and make several cards using some of the stamps from the set and some of the many scrap papers accumulating on my desk.
The mellow moss paper is stamped with the balloon and 'happy birthday' stamps over and over and then overstamped with canvas. Then, I turned the paper over and spritzed it with water and crinkled it into a ball. Using my bonefolder, I smoothed it back out and then went over the front with the mellow moss spot to add color to the roughed up paper. This is one of my new favorite techniques!
After watercoloring the vanilla panel, I went over some lines with the versamarker and embossed with iridescent ice - it looks a little more pronounced than the Sakura glitter pen that I love using. The camera doesn't do a very good job picking up the sparkle, so you have to use your imagination to 'envision' it! LOL!
Thanks for the closer look!
