I am giving a gift card to my sister-in-law tomorrow and wanted to make it really special. This is one of those $1 gift tins that you can buy at the register at Michael's. I left the original design and covered with clear micro-beads. The wrap-around band is made from regular cardstock with ribbon added (I ran ribbon through my Xyron X) and embellished with punched flowers. The leaves are made from the small oval punch. I placed them on the foam mat from the mat pack and made the center 'veins' by using a bone folder and pressing into the mat. It gives it a natural shape if you use somewhat heavy pressure.

WOW! I have that same tin also. It's sitting in the drawer right now because I didnt know what to do with it. You have inspired me to decorate mine as well. Yours is very pretty. I'll do omething different with mine and we will see how it turns out. Thanks for sharing.
