I made this version of the card after coming up with a single layer and feeling like it needed a bit more. So I cut a hole out of the front and stamped the flower on the inside. The bonus of this is that you also get to use the hole in the front as your masking template to sponge the square background on the inside. Leave the cut out piece in place to stamp the border on the front (or open the card so you don't stamp the twirlys on your flower). Running my cameo coral brush tip around the inside edge of the cut-out window added a little bit of accent to it--just make sure not to let your marker leave the window to make marker blobs around the edge!
I liked the twirlys stamped in apricot appeal, but felt that they needed a bit more, so I took my cameo coral marker and traced part of each twirly. They also have a small amount of dazzling diamonds adhered to them as well as the center of the flower.

I LOVE this card! Am pretty new to the one layer card and must say I'm really liking it. Love the effect you created with the cut out...will definately be casing this one!
Thanks for sharing!
