Everything went wrong with this card from the get-go.
I stamped & colored the main image a week ago and it was lying on my desk for so long bcoz I wanted to make a wow card for my husband for V-day (the main reason why I bought this stamp at http://www.stampingbella.com).
Sunday morning, due to lack of imagination I decided to make the card on the lines of many of my cards. Next thing to go wrong were the layers. I made measurement mistake with every layer and I normally don't ever make that mistake. On top of that the red layer is actually little crooked.
The semi-circles at the top & bottom of the card are cut with 1 inch circle punch. The eyelet was supposed to set in a way that it is closer to the inside of the card so that the ribbon when tied is not pointing outside the card. I lost my patience, and decided to use the piece as is.
Finally after I adhered the primas with a rhinestone, I totally loved the card BUTTTTTTTTTTT it is too girly!!
I just showed it to my husband & told him that the card was made with him in mind but turned out too girly, so you won't be getting one this V-day. hey, itz the thought that counts, right? LOL.
wow, this was long & think I bored you guys enough
Top half of the card is embossed & highlighted with stickles. The main image has tons of stickles & Sakura clear glitter.
The black scalloped band was acheived using slit punch and peirced and highlighted with white pen.
