I recreated the bag from the Stampin' Success (DEC. p 15) with my own touches. I plan to demo this at my workshop tomorrow night. I did poppin' pastesl on the metal edge tag and did not get a crisp image when I stamped it with versamark, I am trying to be okay with it, but I might just have to re do it.
To recreate this bag this is what I did:
Using a 12 x 7 1/2 piece of CS
Score at 1/2, 2, 6 1/4 and 7 3/4 (along the 12" side) and 1 1/2 on the 7 1/2 side.
You will then see the lines you need to cut at the bottom to fold the bag, I cut them and then did the following to make the bag "go in" on the sides.
Now you will see that you have two segments that are 1 1/2 wide, score down the middle of these two segments and at the bottom of them you need to score a triangle to make the bag go in, like a paper bag. I used a 1 1/4" square, cut in half diag. and traced it with my bone folder on the foam mat in the crafters tool kit. I folded it up and used sticky strip to put it all together.
I hope that makes sense! Maybe someone else has a pattern, but this worked for me
