I really wanted to do a scene with the animals from the Very Punny set and I adore Kittie 747's work. So....with inspiration from her and "Charlotte's Web" that I watched this evening with my kids...this card was born. I sketched (heehee) the barn and trees and grass and then colored in with watercolor crayons and markers. I then cut the circle so I could crop out the parts I didn't like---then used my red ribbon to make it seem more "barn-like". I really pushed myself to do it because I tend to AVOID watercoloring because I am not gifted in that area. But it was fun to try something new. Thanks Kittie!

Don't make fun of your sketching. Your sketching of the barn and trees is wonderful and so is your coloring. I adore this card and this set. I hope to see more of your creations. A little secret to share with you.....the more you watercolor and sketch.....the better you get. It takes practice and repitition. Keep at it.

Wow, I love all the work you put into that beautiful barn! Great job. The scene in the circle and with the ribbon is just awesome! (the colors and the gingham give it all a country feel!)

Love your barn. You should consider putting your sketch work on rubbah!!!
