My up-up-line gives us a challenge to take home each meeting and bring back for show & tell next meeting. This is my first project of this nature. It was fun, different, & challenging. (Photographing surfaces with microbeads makes for its own challenges!)
I dis-assembled the tin in order to mod-podge non-SU designer paper around the perimeter. The xyron was handy for adhering micro-beads to the non-SU paper on the top, and then xyroned again to adhere the paper to the top and bottom of the tin. I used glue dots inside on the vertical walls to cover with a strip of more non-SU designer paper (and hide the ugly sides of the hardware). ... then what fun digging thru my gallon-jar (KAB, remember grandma's jar of cookies every week? I'm still using it!) of misc ribbons. I *think* this is finished. If I have time before sending this to this week's meeting, I'll make little note cards for inside... (oh! but if they're proportioned to the tin, they won't be a standard envy size... maybe tags instead...)
