I saw this idea on here and decided to make these for all the kids in my boys' classes for Christmas. I made about 100 total.
I'm sorry the poem didn't show up in the pic. Here's what the topper says:
GINGERBREAD MAN KIT
Decorate your own gingerbread man, so nice and sweet.
Use your imagination to make him really neat!
Don't foget the frosting, and the M&M's too.
And have a Merry Christmas, just from me to you!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
I did put my kids' names on them, for their classmates.
I used a 4x5 plastic zip-top bag found at Hobby Lobby to hold everything. Inside the baggie is a pack of mini M&M's (I found a large bag of these at Walmart) a Little Debbie Gingerbread Man and a 2x3 plastic zip-top bag (also from HL) with regular cake icing piped into it. All they have to do is snip the corner off the bag of frosting and pipe designes on the gingerbread cookie, then use the mini M&M's to decorate. If you can't find the mini M&M's, the plain ones will work. The topper was a piece of 4x5 double sided paper, folded in half and stapled to the top. Then I printed the poem on white cs and adhered it to the topper. We also added gingerbread man stickers to the back, but you could stamp with the SU gingerbread man stamp if you want.
TFL!
