I realized that I have to make some birthday cards this month for some important peoples in my family. So one done, at least one more to go. This one will be for my Grandma, I think.
I used some of the coordinating Holiday Slab papers to start out. I found one of the larger chipboard buckles and covered it with the striped paper. While that was drying I watercoloured the main image. I don't have any thick ribbon so I made a paper strand. Used Silver ink to stamp with the little star burst. The background has white snowflakes lightly stamped on. I also sponged the edges of the 'ribbon' and the Happy Birthday.
