This is a thankyou card (cased from back of catty and changed) with matchin altered SU envelope I made for Kristina (our fearless leader) ;0)
I made the faux buttons using a circle punch adn the horizontal slot, colored the ribbon stitching with cameo coral to match the ink on the flowers.
----Speaking of colours, one nifty thing I noticed when scanning (probably elemetary to people who actually know how) ;0) is that you can preview what your card would look like in other colours by going to the section where you alter colour on your scan and moving the bar back and forth (for instance, this card showed up in purple green, etc..) Seems like the perfect way to decide on different colours for the same layout: work-free!---
The detail on the envelope requires the largest cirlce punch adn riveting hostess set (though you could use circle of friendship or simple shapes).
I just stamped the riveting flower thank you stamp using a chocolate chip and cameo coral marker. Then I drew in the leaves (with always artichoke) and the branches and filled in the middle of the flower with coral. The last step was outlining it all to look like the artful asian stamp and adding crystal effects which was also on the blossoms in the card.
Thanks for looking,
Mel
