I actually created a pattern (now that's a first :-) for this purse so it could hold a gift certificate, money or small gift item. It has a flat bottom and "accordian" sides so the purse expands when it's opened.
Directions:
1. Score 8 ½ x 11 Cranberry Crisp cardstock at 3 3/8, 4 ½, 8 and 8 ½
2. Fold on all score lines
3. Score 3 3/8 x 4 Cranberry Crisp cardstock at ½ inch intervals (turn cardstock over at mid-way point to make it easier to score to the end)
4. Fold on score lines alternating direction till you have an accordian fold
5. Apply adhesive on the outside edges and adhere to the inside of the purse to for the sides
6. Layer the 8 ½ x 2 ½ Holiday Thyme paper to the front flap of the purse
7. Thread the 3/8 x 8 ¾ Holiday Thyme paper through the Hodge Podge buckle and adhere to the bottom of the front flap of purse, trim off any excess (the strip that goes through the buckle needs to be about ¼ inch longer than the piece your adhere it to)
8. Attach the Cranberry Stitched ribbon to the underside of the purse flap (Optional: cover with scrap cardstock for a cleaner look)
9. Put the two Velcro dots together and attach to the center of the underside of the purse flap, pull off adhesive backing on other side and fold flap down to attach to the purse
