This is for the VSN Challenge to make a card for your mail carrier using a mailbox as the main theme. I tryed to sketch a scene as it looks for our front yard, except our mailbox isn't way this big. The mailbox is on the other side of the road, overlooking land on the other side of the road. Wish I did have flowers growing over there. The object in the top far left corner is suppossed to be a chicken house. I can barely see the silver roof off in the distance. Charles drives a car about this color, but bigger than this one. The little red thing dangling from the mailbox, is a little piece of metal painted red on the end of a chain. It is fixed to go into the mailbox until he comes, then when he opens the box it drops, and we can look out and see if he has come.. Sure is nice when it's real COLD.

Oh, Janet, I love your red dangly. My dad does the same thing but he hasn't painted his personal *flag*! Here we thought he was the only one that did this and we all get a good chuckle with it. He was a postman for 25-years so guess he learned something somewhere! Love the cardL!

Janet this is just adorable! Love everything about it, including the size of that mailbox (it must be that big for all the RAKS you receive and send)!!!
