Here is my page for Sally's trip to Rome challenge to scrap a page with her sketch and adding a postal touch and vintage.
It was my first time doing faux postage - very fun. I'm not sure about the vintage look, now looking at the scan I think some tarnished star embellies would be good. I also just NOW noticed that I used one picture two times!! LOL Well, let's say, ummm, let's say that I like that particular picture!! heehee. Oh well, it's not the first time (and certainly won't be the last) that I've made a mistake on a page in my albums - better done than perfect!!
Seriously these were pictures of a great time we had, but terrible photos. So I have been putting off scrapping them because they weren't such great pictures.

love your faux postage! great job with the challenge. I've done that too--using two photos without realizing it until later--I just figured I would call it artistic! looks great!

Your faux stamps turned out great!! and I like how you clustered the stars on the red and blue paper. I have seen duplicate pictures like this in the magazines and books --emphasizes your main focus! And I love that pic -- too cool how you can see the smoke from the sparkler hovering above the girl. Good job!!

great job on the challenge - love the stars on the faux postage and on your page - good carry over; like your alpha fonts; KWYM about putting off scrapping not so good photos; I have bunches of them! great journaling as usual - 'until the police came' that's something to remember!
