The image was stamped onto the tissue paper and colored with the Marvelous Markers to make it vibrant and colorful. I decided I wanted this to be a Father/Daughter candle, so I made the boy figure have pony tails. Next time I will make black hair so it stands out better. I think it came out okay for a first try though. It looks better in a card form.
It was then cut around the image as close as possible and carefully laid out on the candle in strategic places to make this beautiful design that actually goes up to the top of the candle. (You have to color in VERY carefully, so you don't make a hole in your tissue paper!) After placing image on candle where you want it, cover image with wax paper and wrap tightly around candle. Keep wax paper tight! Heat with heat tool until the image starts to disappear (just like when you emboss!) The image is melting into the wax! Turn off heat tool and slowly peel off the wax paper to reveal your beautiful image on your candle! (If you have a large or long piece of tissue paper, do small sections at a time and shift your wax paper to a new section so you don't get "run-off" of wax). If there are any areas that aren't fully melted, repeat the process with a clean area of the wax paper, remembering to hold it TIGHT!
