I crayoned the little girl's slicker and boots, and the duck, so they appear all clean and shiny in the midst of the splashing rain and puddles. The sponging was meant to suggest a thunderstorm, and I added Ranger's Glossy Accents to the raindrops and the puddle, so they gleam wetly in real life. The sentiment is handwritten. A great challenge -- I'd been wanting to try crayon resist, and at first I thought it was a real mess, until all the crayon was rubbed off.

Oh wow ... this is beautiful! I will have to try this technique too. It's one of those things on the "must try sometime" list, but now you've inspired me. Great job.

Wow!! I have always liked the look of the crayon resist but this card took it to another level!! I never would have thought to crayon a whole area like the coat etc. It turned out great!!!TFS!
