When I first got the catty, I put a mark by this card on page 106 because I liked the lay-out, didn't care too much for the orange.
I have such a hard time with this set and even though the layout was great... I still had a hard time. I think part of the problem was that I started out with the card too big, so there seems to be alot of empty space. I didn't have all the stamps, so I had to handwrite the "love" and "mom" part. I do think that my daughter will still like it. I also didn't have the spritzer, so I used Itty Bitty background stamp and just sort of randomly stamped it... it seemed to work fine for the effect.
The bow was horrible to tie, so I just gave up and left it. And I sure didn't pull out my sewing machine to sew on the pocket... white gel pen worked fine for me.
I guess this is what a "Challenge" really means! I don't care much at all for it, but figured since it was my Challenge card, I'd post it.

Sounds like you had a rough time of it! I think it turned out great. It's really cute and the colors are wonderful to me. I'm sure your daughter will love it! TFS!

I like your colour choices...and I like the softer curves you made with the 'circle'. I never even noticed this card in the catty but yours jumped out of the group of thumbprints on the page...
Good job. TFS
