I'm sorry, I just went straight for Christmas cheer because I had made this background for a card for one of DH's friends, specially including music for him, but then couldn't make it into a suitable card. And I wanted to use it, it was too Christmassy to put in my background box.
White gesso. Music, ornament and music stamps using assorted Ranger's Archival inks. Buff titanium and a light aqua paint. Inka gold. TH crackle paste through a TCW Diamonds stencil. Copper paint around the edges. Faux snow on the pine boughs. Ornaments were cut from an unused piece using the two-tone interference tutorial: Two Tone Interference Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
Sentiment is LOTV, stamped with a dark brown, sponged with Antique Linen, slight colour added with pencil, popped up on foam.

I missed this lovely piece of your artwork, Sabrina! Have you ever done a ton of tricks and tutorials. There is so much depth and interest, and I’m always drawn in by greenery. I’m glad you salvaged it. I’ve always loved LOTV, and recognized that sentiment right off. I also noticed that dipped edge. This would take me all day to do! Your background is wonderful, and those ornaments are totally fun, funky, and unique!

I agree, that bg needed to be made into a card. I can't fathom why it didn't work for your other friend, but I'm delighted Ruth gave you this opportunity to use it now. I'm sure she will adore this. Your bg is phenomenal! So much richness and depth with all the various layers, colors, patterns, stamps, etc. You are a master at that and your signature edging. Stunning card, Sabrina.

Oh, I just love this! Your green branches with snow and that little square sentiment amongst your ornaments on that interesting background all make for a delightful looking Christmas card!
