What a great challenge - I found it so hard to decide what way to go. In the end I used butterfly DP to create a Floating Strips (Floating Strips Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers ) circle, from which I cut a larger butterfly shape. I put the acetate over a sheet of grid paper, which makes lining the strips up evenly easy to do.
I stuck the solid green butterfly to the card base and attached the gold outline at the body only. Added a die-cut sentiment, and since it looked a little bare I trawled through my box and found just enigh gold corner stickers.

I love the look of this technique....so unique. The green butterfly with the gold outline really stands out here even on that somewhat busy dp...so pretty!

I love the floating strips technique and this looks beautiful with your kaleidoscope of butterflies. I can imagine how lovely this all looks with the touches of gold in the corners and on the main butterfly. Beautiful design and one that is sure to cheer. I hope all these butterflies fill Jane with joy. It does me.
