Fall is my favorite! I tried to create a layered scene. The background is acrylic painted trees as another DTGD challenger taught us. In the trees I sponged cherry cobbler dye ink to define the foliage a bit more. I used my blender brush to sponge in some blue sky. I added a layer of white craft hanging close to the ground--probably rising from the pond--in the middle ground. I clear embossed the pond and dropped in some (a little) red glitter to represent fallen leaves. (Sadly, it doesn't show in the photo. I defined the bank of the pond a bit with a Sharpie gel pen (I am in love with this pen!!!)
In the foreground I stamped a bush full of birds.(Alas, it didn't stamp as well as I had hoped. It's a beautiful stamp!) On the ground, I glued pencil shavings to represent the detritus of the forest floor.
