Here's my combo of Friday challenges. This was a tough card to make. It's for a coworker that has been with the company for almost 43 years. I've worked with him for 21 years and he is so smart and kind. Just such a pleasure to work with. But there were layoffs and since he is closest to retirement age, he basically got forced into retirement. I couldn't make a "congratulations on your retirement" card. So I went with "sea ya" and "I already miss you" inside. Because I do already miss him. I hope he does have some grand adventures in his retirement. A friend stamped these cute sailing friends for me. I'm trying to get through my pile of already stamped images. I stamped some hearts to look like reflections of light on the water and embossed them with clear EP. Then I used my brayer to spread a few different colors of ink onto the paper. I tore the top for some foam on the wave. The background sky is a gelli print that I made with Tumbled Glass distress oxide.

That sucks about your coworker, if you have been there that long you should be able to leave on your own terms! But this is a lovely card, I especially like the gelli print sky!

Wow, your company must have lots of good people to have let someone with 43 years of knowledge and dedication retire when they could have kept him. The newly coming in crowd doesn't typically have the same loyalty or work ethic - people just don't understand that but it is super true.
Now to your card. I love everything you did with this. Great use of that fab image, a great sentiment, and I love the torn paper and little hearts. Your inside was smile-worthy as well.
