I still have quite a few disappearing nine-patch squares from when Beverly featured it as a TLC, so I dusted one of those of and added a button with a stitched rosebud to pick up on the floral DP. I'll add a detail shot in the challenge thread. DH had used up my milliner's/straw needles (to repair my watch strap, so I can't complain), so the bullion knots were a little trickier.
I stamped the cream matting layer with a floral and a script stamp, again picking up on the overall theme of the patch.

I need to remember the disappearing 9 patch as it is really perfect for using up paper scraps. I have been working my way through my paper scraps and this is a great one for them. Super cute quilt themed card.

The disappearing 9-patch is such a versatile technique. Your lovely papers look like the designs used in old quilts too, so it has a sweet vintage look to it.

Your beautifully selected DPs make a charming "crazy" quilt like pattern in how you have arranged the pieces, Sabrina. The button flower with the greenery....a lovely focal point.
