Kia, thank you for another fun challenge and excellent video tutorial. I learned something new besides a painting technique. I learned that in the UK, these are call "carved pumpkins" and not Jack'-'lanterns. I can add that fun fact to my trivia stash.
For me, the hardest part of creating this piece was sketching the pumpkins. I must have had about five do overs. In the end, I'm happy with how they turned out. I tried to make them not look scary.
As for the branch... it's way thicker than I wanted it to be but, it was too late to turn back. I already had my pumpkins painted and was not interested in starting over. I based the branch of a photo I had taken at a lavender farm that we go to every year. This farm is home to a 1,000 year old oak tree. I used one of it's branches as a reference.
Thanks for looking. Enjoy!

Fantastic job on this fun card with your cool faces on the jack-o-lantern. I really like your branch, it does look like it came from a very old tree. TFS

Your Jack 'O Lanterns are really great! I like their glow and their faces. Your branch won't let those pumpkins fall at least. One of mine may break the branch he is on. Great job with your painting.

You did a good job sketching those pumpkins. I threw mine in the garbage and used stamps. Ha
I also did my branch too wide on one of my tries and had to do it over. I think your limb looks great with the pretty fall leaves. A 1,000 yr. old oak tree? Wow! I would love to see it.

Nice variety of pumpkins and the great thing about this challenge is they didn't have to be perfect - a few lumps, bumps and imperfections really add to their character and personality.
