The base of the card is an embossed card from a set. I tried inking it and screwed up in a few places, hence the green overlays. Stamped the top with a white headline then a 3D rose and finished with a wee bow. A very simple card was made for my friend who later passed away.

Your mistake made a beautiful design for this truly lovely card. The 3D rose adds an elegant touch to this card. I can tell it was made from the heart. TFS

I love the look of the green overlay too. It makes a beautiful design especially with the lovely deep green you chose. That rose is gorgeous and the dark green really shows it off. I am sorry to read that your friend passed. Condolences. Hugs.

Beautifully done. Love the rose and how you tucked it in. The angles and embossed strip in the background adds interest without distracting from the focal point. Wonderful card made with love. So sorry your friend passed. Hugs!!

Beautiful card for your friend, Betty. Sympathies on your loss. A terrific "save" that possibly made the card even better. The gorgeous rose is definitely the centerpiece.

I think it looks better with your green overlays. I love the texture and how you used a diagonal angle in your design. Beautiful way to show off this rose.
