And for Polly's challenge fine stripes this works perfectly too, I've first made "fire" to burn the matches, glued them on my paper sponged with toffee, stamped with onyx black and crimson red, colored with posca markers, found 2 already die cut butterflies, used my white gel pen to highlight added a birthday sentiment with golden sticker letters and some dots, layered with black on bordeaux card stock

Anita, what a clever idea to use those matches ... so much wonderful texture and then, to top it off, you stamped and colored the flower on the matches background! Love it!
