I needed some masculine birthday cards for my seniors so I decided to break out my new designer papers that arrived right before I headed to NJ. I made six identical cards of this design.
I started with a 6 pack of small thank you cards that are blank inside, from Dollar Tree. I opted to cover the fronts entirely with some of the tropical design paper cut to size. Since it was a 2 sided design that coordinated it was easy to cut pieces the size of the card fronts, then cut the piece in half and flip one piece, and attach to the front of the cards. I covered the seam with some sage green ribbon.
For the sentiment I punched tags from white cardstock with the tailored tag punch. Iâve wanted one for years but finally pulled the trigger when I saw it was being discontinued. I stamped the leaves from Artfully Layered in crushed olive ink, then stamped the sentiment in pesto over top, and also stamped a birthday sentiment inside the cards. I punched more tags out of sage green card stock and cut them in half to layer under the tag, then attached the tags to the cards with foam tape.
USEIT2022: paper scraps! Also used my new purchases of the designer paper, tag punch, and Honeybee stamps. The ribbon has been in my stash forever and is a go to, I will be so sad when it runs out!

Terrific masculine birthday card. Great idea to cut the paper and then cut in half to use both patterns. Good for you making six of this one. Well done! The Seniors will love their cards.
